Ed Savory

Ed is VP of drug discovery leading the chemical sciences team. Ed is responsible for overseeing AI-augmented medicinal chemistry projects from early discovery through to preclinical development. Before joining BenevolentAI, Ed worked for Cambridge BioTechnology, BioVitrum, Proximagen and Upsher-Smith, leading multiple chemistry and cross-disciplinary project teams across a diverse range of biological targets and disease indications, identifying 4 clinical phase drugs. Ed holds a BA and DPhil from the University of Oxford and has over 18 years drug discovery experience.
