David Hanson, CFP®, has over 40 years of work experience in the financial industry. David began their career at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in 1980, where they worked as a Managing Director - Investments for 28 years. In 2008, they joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Managing Director - Investments and stayed there for two years before moving to Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. In their current role at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., they serve as the Managing Director - Investments and Branch Manager.

David Hanson, CFP®, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Augustana College, where they studied from 1977 to 1980. In addition, they hold various certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including the Certified Financial Planner® designation from the CFP Board.
