Shawn Corey

Shawn Corey currently holds the position of Vice President - Investments and Registered Financial Client Associate at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., a role undertaken since December 2016. Prior to this, Shawn served as Deputy County Attorney/Municipal Affairs for Steuben County from February 2011 to August 2016, where responsibilities included advising on municipal issues, contract negotiation, and overseeing support staff. In Chautauqua County from February 2003 to February 2011, Shawn acted as Assistant County Attorney, managing HIPAA compliance, serving as counsel to various boards, and co-chairing the County Labor Relations Council. Earlier experience includes a law clerk position in the Niagara County District Attorney's Office and a student internship at the Grant County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Shawn holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Indiana Wesleyan University.
