Sara Powers

Sara Powers is a Senior Research Scientist at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, a position held since September 2018, following a role as Research Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at The College of Saint Rose from July 2014 to June 2018 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Akron from July 2009 to May 2014. Sara Powers holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Development and Aging from The University of Akron, obtained between 2011 and 2014, a Master's degree in the same field from The University of Akron, earned from 2009 to 2011, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Holy Family University, completed in 2009.
