Corey Wilkes

Corey Wilkes, P.E. is a seasoned design engineer currently employed at Bennett & Pless, Inc. since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a structural engineer at Jacobs from June 2017 to November 2021, structural plant engineer at Meggitt PLC from January 2015 to July 2017, and structural engineer I at Destek Engineering, LLC from January 2014 to January 2015. Prior to these positions, Corey served as an engineer/builder at Signature Research, specializing in designing and constructing challenge courses globally, including climbing walls and ziplines. Corey also held positions at Old Dominion University, first as assistant director of annual giving, leading a team and managing a budget, and previously as a web developer/data interface manager, where significant contributions were made to the Annual Fund's online presence. Corey obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures from Old Dominion University, following study at Virginia Tech from 2001 to 2004.
