Laurence Hendy

Laurence Hendy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Laurence began their career as a Store Manager at Allied Carpets, where they managed various locations, achieved set targets, and oversaw staff recruitment and development. Laurence then moved on to Sleepmasters, where they held roles such as Internal Auditor and Systems and Compliance Manager, focusing on store audits, stock control, and implementing controls. Laurence also had a brief secondment as an Area Sales Manager, managing stores and employees. At Bensons for Beds, Laurence held multiple roles, including Business Applications and Compliance Manager, Head of Business Applications, and Head of Applications and Service Delivery. Their responsibilities included project management, system support and development, compliance management, and team supervision. Most recently, Laurence worked at Steinhoff UK as the Head of Business Applications.
