Malcolm Thomson

Malcolm Thomson is an experienced automotive engineer currently serving as the Chassis Mechatronics Technical Manager at Bentley Motors since August 2019. Previously, roles included Lead Gasoline Engine Calibration Engineer and Senior Gasoline Engine Calibration Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where responsibilities encompassed developing powertrain calibrations and conducting extensive testing for gasoline engine performance. Malcolm began their career as a Gasoline Calibration Engineer with AVL and gained early experience as an Undergraduate Emissions Engineer at Millbrook Proving Ground Ltd. With a strong educational foundation, Malcolm holds an MSc in Automotive Product Engineering from Cranfield University and a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
