Markus Thiel

Markus Thiel is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as the Director of R&D Vehicle Motion at Bentley Motors since October 2022, focusing on powertrain, chassis, ADAS, hardware and software, calibration, and integration for various vehicle types including ICE, PHEV, and BEV. Prior to this role, Thiel held multiple positions at AUDI AG from July 2012 to October 2022, including Director of Technical Conformity Whole Vehicle, where responsibilities included homologation of driving systems, and Director of Vehicle Test Rigs Emissions/Consumption/Range, overseeing emission testing and test automation.
