Rahul Patil

Rahul Patil has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of software engineering. Rahul is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering at Bentley Systems, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Software Development from January 2017 to April 2021. Rahul has also held positions such as Senior Development Manager, Software Development Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer at Bentley Systems, exhibiting their growth within the company over the years. Before joining Bentley Systems, Rahul worked as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo from January 2002 to August 2003.

Rahul Patil holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Production Engineering from KIT's College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kolhapur, between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they have a certification in Leading Strategic Growth from Columbia Business School.
