Aaron Pham has four years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at BentoML, where they revamp current Docker infrastructure for easier images management, built a Debian-based Docker image for model server with GPU supports, and provided a guide on deploying model server to Kubernetes with Prometheus stack. In 2020, they were selected as one of 80 fellows to be part of MLH Fellowship Open Source Batch 1, and wrote a metrics exporter for YataiService. Also in 2020, they were a Software Engineer Intern at GPAY Technology, where they designed and created a product-based price recommender API using NLP models, implemented and trained a custom BERT model for sentence similarity in PyTorch, implemented and built a microservices infrastructure dockerized in Go, and wrote unit test for both Go and Python backend. In 2018, they were a Data Analyst Intern at Vietnam Prosperity Bank - VPBank, where they learned and implemented Business Intelligence tool with Excel and VBA, database management with SQL Server and pandas, simple machine learning model with sklearn to get customer insight, proposed and presented a tutorial on git and GitHub to improve the teams' efficiency, and wrote an analytics report on behaviours of digital customers who prefer using offline channels over digital ones using Python.

Aaron Pham began their educational journey at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted from 2012 to 2017. Aaron then attended St. George's School from 2017 to 2019, where they earned their Dogwood District Diploma in General Studies. Currently, Aaron is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering & Management at McMaster University, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
