Rachel McEneny

Rachel McEneny serves as the County Administrator for Benton County, beginning in September 2023. Previously, Rachel was the Commissioner for the City of Albany, New York, for over seven years, where responsibilities included acting as Deputy Mayor and overseeing the annual operating budget. Additional experience includes roles such as Director of Public Affairs for the New York State Department of Labor, Deputy Commissioner at the New York State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services during Superstorm Sandy, and Senior Associate at Capitol Public Strategies. Rachel also held positions as Communications Director in the U.S. House of Representatives and for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand, alongside co-founding Piper Theatre Productions. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Division of Continuing Education and a BA in Theatre and Political Science from the University at Albany.
