Martin Cross has had a long and successful career in the telecommunications industry. Martin started their professional career in 1992 as a Sales Director at Nortel Networks, where they worked through multiple roles before moving to wireless in 1994. In 2001, they made a deliberate career move to a venture funded startup, Navini Networks, where they served as Vice President Of Business Development. In 2008, Navini Networks was acquired by Cisco Systems and Martin was designated as part of the Senior Leadership team. Martin ran an overlay sales organization of ~30 people and was responsible for providing product and wireless market expertise for the Cisco regional sales force and global partners. In 2010, they moved to AirWalk Communications as Vice President Global Sales. Here, they were part of the Senior Leadership Team and was responsible for revenues of <$10M/year. In 2012, they joined Mavenir Systems as Vice President Business Development / Global Channels. Martin built and developed channel relationships including Samsung and regional partners in Russia, China and Middle East. In 2014, they joined AGNITY, Inc as Vice President Global Sales and Business Development. Martin took the company from its 2014 position of solid technology commercially deployed with Softbank (Japan) to high growth path of repeatable business in a focused industry segment. In 2019, they joined Radisys Corporation as Sr Director Sales - Software Defined PON. Martin was responsible for sales of the Radisys Software Defined Passive Optical Networking portfolio of products for the Americas market including new business development. Finally, in 2022, they joined Benu Networks as Director - Sales / Business Development. At Benu, they are responsible for the industry leader in Software Defined solutions for the Service Provider Network Edge. Martin Cross also serves as an Independent Board Member for Reverent Technologies, Inc. since 2013.

Martin Cross earned an MBA in Marketing/ Venture Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 1990 and 1992. Martin also earned a BA from William & Mary between 1982 and 1986.
