Justin Coburn

Justin Coburn is an accomplished leader in community engagement and sustainability with extensive experience in working with First Peoples and Indigenous communities. Currently serving as the Head of Community and Sustainability at Beon Energy Solutions since October 2017, Justin oversees the implementation of impactful community engagement and sustainability programs, including the Reconciliation Action Plan. In addition to this role, Justin leads First Peoples Engagement at CitiPower and Powercor, where a focus on building respectful relationships with Indigenous communities has led to the development of a new Reconciliation Action Plan. As the founder and director of Peace and Diversity Australia, Justin has supported Indigenous self-determination efforts in Mexico. Justin's past roles include chairing the Clean Energy Council's Social Licence and Community Engagement Working Group and overseeing significant projects at World Vision Australia aimed at benefiting Indigenous Peoples in South America. With academic qualifications in holistic science, development economics, and business, Justin is dedicated to fostering positive change and advocating for Indigenous rights.
