Javier Gonzalez Lastra

Javier Gonzalez Lastra, CFA, currently serves as the Head of European Beverages Research at Berenberg, a position held since January 2025. Previously, Javier was an Investment Partner at Tema ETFs from May 2023 to December 2024, and served as the Head of Beverages Equity Research at Berenberg from September 2014 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes leading Beverages Research at Exane from May 2010 to August 2014, and holding the role of Head of European Beverages Research at Goldman Sachs from October 2007 to April 2010. Javier's career in equity research began as an Analyst at SG Securities from 2000 to 2004, followed by the position of Senior Equity Research Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (2004-2005) and Exane (2005-2007). Javier holds a CFA designation obtained between 2001 and 2003 and a degree from CUNEF, completed between 1996 and 2000.
