Sam England

Sam England, CFA, currently serves as the Director and Head of European Med Tech Equity Research at Berenberg, a position held since January 2022, where leadership of the Med Tech/Services equity research team and coverage of UK and European stocks is encompassed. Prior to this role, Sam was the Director of US Small and Mid Cap Equity Research at Berenberg Capital Markets from June 2018 to December 2021, contributing to the establishment of the firm’s US equity research coverage and leading the Small Cap research team. Sam’s earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of UK Mid-Cap Equity Research at Berenberg and as an Assistant Manager at KPMG UK in Transfer Pricing and Private Equity. Sam began a career in operations at HJ Heinz following education at Durham University, where a degree in English Literature was obtained.
