Ian McMillan

Ian McMillan is a Partner at Bereskin & Parr LLP since March 2002, specializing in patent and technology law with a focus on obtaining, evaluating, and leveraging intellectual property rights for clients in the mechanical, mass spectrometry, and computer software fields. Prior to this role, Ian served as a Patent Lawyer at Ridout & Maybee LLP from October 1998 to February 2002, where expertise was developed in all aspects of intellectual property, particularly in representing inventors before Canadian and U.S. authorities. Ian holds an LLM in Patent Law and an LLB from the University of Toronto, as well as a B.Sc.E. in Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University.
