Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Most recently, they have been working at Berger Paints India as the Head of HR for the British Paints Division since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance Human Resources Consultant from February 2021 to March 2022.

Before their freelance work, Rakesh held the position of Head of Human Resources at Kent RO Systems Ltd. from December 2018 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for corporate HR functions, leadership development, talent management, performance management, and HR analytics for a large employee base.

Rakesh Kumar has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES, LUCKNOW. Later, in 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. In 2011, they pursued an Executive Program in Human Resource Management (EPHRM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Currently, Rakesh is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resources Management, specifically focusing on the impact of employee engagement at the workplace, from Tantia University Rajasthan.
