Ben Cerveny is an accomplished innovator and leader with extensive experience in public-purpose software, speculative design, and technology's impact on society. Since March 2019, Ben has served as President and Chairman of the Board at The Foundation For Public Code, promoting open and collaborative policy for enhanced public services. Currently a Senior Fellow at the Berggruen Institute, Ben has also contributed as Associate Director at Antikythera, exploring computation's influence on philosophy and global systems. With a rich background in design and technology, including roles at Samsung Electronics, Arup, and Stamen, Ben combines a philosophy degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with a passion for enhancing cultural and technological narratives. Additionally, Ben's leadership at Bloom Studio Inc. resulted in the award-winning iPad app Planetary.
