Cullen Hendrix

Cullen Hendrix is a Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, where research focuses on the economic and security implications of climate change, food security, and civil conflict. Hendrix coauthored "Science and the International Politics of Climate Change" (2010) and is set to publish "Food Insecurity and Violent Conflict: Causes, Consequences, and Addressing the Challenges." Previous academic roles include Professor at the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies and Assistant Professor at both the College of William and Mary and the University of North Texas. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Political Science from UC San Diego and a BA in Political Science from Kalamazoo College.
