Damian Nicolas Schneider

Damian Nicolas Schneider is an experienced engineering and maintenance professional with a robust background in overseeing plant maintenance activities. Currently serving as the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at BERICAP since April 2023, Damian is responsible for managing all aspects of plant maintenance and organizing the work team. Previously, as the Head of Maintenance at Rafaela Alimentos S.A from May 2022 to March 2023, responsibilities included overseeing mechanical and electrical maintenance, construction, services, spare parts, and machine room areas, along with leading the preventive and corrective maintenance program. Damian's career at Smurfit Kappa from November 2011 to April 2022 included roles as Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, and Junior Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the management and coordination of maintenance and resources. Damian holds an Ingeniero Mecanico degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur, obtained between 2006 and 2011.
