Ian Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate change adaptation and urban planning, holding leadership roles in various technical assistance projects related to water resources and disaster risk management. Currently serving as Team Leader for the Climate Resilient Urban Investment Project Viet Nam with BERIM, Ian has previously contributed to significant initiatives such as the Flood and Drought Mitigation and Management Sector Project in Lao PDR and the Agriculture Improvement and Water Harvesting Project in Timor-Leste, both with the Asian Development Bank. With a background in engineering and hydrology from The University of Queensland, Ian has also held influential positions with organizations like Winrock International, Belgian Development Agency, and Kellogg Brown and Root, focusing on enhancing resilience against climate impacts across Southeast Asia.
