Tanvi Yalamanchili

Tanvi Yalamanchili is a dedicated undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, expected to graduate in 2025. Current roles include Research Intern at the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute's Medina Lab and Vice President of the Berkeley Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program (KDSAP). Previous experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher with the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) under Professor Stefano M. Bertozzi, where Tanvi contributed to the Rapid Reviews: Covid-19 project. Additional internships at Berkeley Pharma Tech involved leading a team to write a scientific review on mesenchymal stem cells as a potential ALS therapy. A summer internship at Stanford Health Care provided hands-on experience in cardiothoracic surgery, while an early academic experience at the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) focused on mathematical modeling of biological systems.
