Aiden Brutman

Aiden Brutman is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of California, Berkeley, with a range of practical experience in research and mentorship. Currently serving as a Research Affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since November 2023, Aiden conducts mechanical testing on materials for electrochemical devices using Instron machines. Prior to this role, Aiden gained experience at UC Berkeley College of Engineering and worked at Hills Boat Service from March 2020 to August 2022. Additionally, Aiden taught photography to Jewish youth at Congregation Shir Ha-Ma'alot and mentored students in fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from September 2019 to February 2022. Aiden completed high school at Newport Harbor High School in June 2022.
