Harry Beller is currently an Associate Editor at Frontiers in Microbiology, specializing in Microbial Physiology and Metabolism. They have served as a Microbiologist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since 2020, following a distinguished career that includes roles as a Senior Environmental Chemist at PTI Environmental Services and various positions at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Beller has led biofuels research as the Director of Biofuels Pathways at the Joint BioEnergy Institute from 2007 to 2018. They hold a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and currently serve as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto.
