Derek Thieda

Derek Thieda, CPA, currently serves as a Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group LLC since September 2017, following a progression of roles including Director at the same firm. Prior experience includes Senior Manager in Transaction Advisory Services at EY from February 2014 to September 2017, and Director of Corporate Finance in Transaction Advisory Services at FTI Consulting from September 2009 to January 2014. Earlier in the career, Derek held the position of Senior in Assurance at Ernst & Young from July 2006 to September 2009. Derek Thieda earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business (2002-2006) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Albion College (2001-2002).
