Nicholas Lozito

Nicholas Lozito is an accomplished sportswriter and designer with extensive experience in journalism and media. Currently serving as a sportswriter for Northern California Golf Association, Poppy Holding Inc., KQED, Berkeleyside, and The Oaklandside since 2022, Nicholas also holds a design position at The New York Times. Previous roles include sports designer/producer at the San Francisco Chronicle, sports designer at Bay Area News Group, and page designer/copy editor at The Bakersfield Californian. Early career achievements include media relations coordination with the Sacramento River Cats and page design/copy editing at The Modesto Bee. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University-Sacramento, completed in 2006.
