Ty-Juana L. Flores serves as the Director of Identity-Based Programs and the Director of the Black Scholars Initiative at Berklee College of Music since January 2022. Prior to this role, Ty-Juana held the position of Director of Grants and Programs at the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture in the City of Boston from August 2021 to January 2022. Ty-Juana's extensive experience at Berklee College of Music includes managerial and project management roles from October 2011 to August 2021, as well as working as a designer while self-employed from 2016 to 2020. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant to CEOs and as a Womenswear Apparel Designer & Account Manager in various showrooms in New York's garment district from 2004 to 2010, collaborating with major retailers like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Ty-Juana holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design and Retailing from Framingham State University and a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University.
