Matthew Schutter

Matthew Schutter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and insurance. Currently serving as the Program Manager at Berkley Program Specialists since June 2012, Matthew oversees various Program Administrators, managing account referrals, program underwriting audits, loss analysis, and market condition analysis while developing underwriting guidelines. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions as a Program Underwriter and Equine Underwriter, focusing on risk evaluation and rating for farm property and equine liability. Previous experience includes a Risk Management Intern role at the University of Georgia, where Matthew evaluated insurance audits and analyzed risks for study abroad programs, as well as an internship at LMG Insurance that involved data processing and client endorsements. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
