Adam Cantu

Adam Cantu has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Adam began their career as a Credit Analyst at HSBC in 2000. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Commercial Surety Underwriter at RLI. Adam then joined Lockton Companies as an Assistant Vice President from 2007 to 2010. Adam worked as a Senior Vice President at Mesirow from 2011 to 2014. Adam then moved to RLI Insurance Company as the Director of Commercial Surety Underwriting from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Adam serves as the VP and Head of Commercial Surety, West at Berkley Surety (a Berkley Company) since 2016. Adam also held a previous position at Berkley Surety as the AVP / Regional Manager - Commercial Surety from 2016 to 2022, and continues to hold their current position.

Adam Cantu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Adam attended this college from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they also received a certification as an Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding in October 2010, although the institution that granted this certification is unknown.
