Luigi Buonanno

Luigi Buonanno has extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for London at Berkmann Wine Cellars since September 2015, where leadership of the London Sales Team includes implementing the company's sales strategy. Prior to this role, Luigi held various positions, including Regional Sales Manager and Sales Account Manager at Doctor Wine By Daniele Cernilli while also contributing as a columnist for "London Calling." Additional experience includes serving as Operations Manager and Wine Buyer at Bianco43, and a Wine Buyer at Etrusca Restaurants, where responsibilities encompassed purchasing, pricing, and wine marketing. Previous roles also include Head Sommelier at Caravaggio Restaurant and Sommelier at Prism By Harvey Nichols. Luigi's education includes a Master of Sensorial Analysis of Wine and a Diploma in Wine Steward/Sommelier from the Italian Sommelier Association, along with a classical education from Liceo Classico Plauto Roma.
