Laura Farkas

Laura Farkas has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic planning, employee engagement, and recruitment. Laura began their career as a Benefits Administrator and Recruiting Coordinator at Brown Brothers Harriman, where they administered benefit programs and facilitated the hiring process. Laura then moved on to become a Benefits Administrator at Black Mountain Management Inc, where they ensured accurate data transfer and trained employees on HRIS. Laura later joined J. Crew as an Associate Manager, where they managed staffing needs and oversaw the hiring and training process. Laura then transitioned to Blackstone Medical as an HR Manager, where they developed HR strategies and managed recruiting practices. Laura's next position was as a Core Team Champion at BHS/Canyon Ranch Institute Life Enhancement Program, where they focused on community outreach and wellness education. Most recently, they worked at Fairview Hospital as the Director of Human Resources, overseeing day-to-day operations and handling complex employee relations matters. Currently, Laura holds the role of SVP, Sr. HR Business Partner at Berkshire Bank.

Laura Farkas completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Saint Michael's College, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Laura further pursued their education and obtained a Masters of Management (MM) degree in Business from Cambridge College, studying from 2003 to 2005.
