David P.

David P. has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. David started their career in 1997 as a Network Technician at Bethel Park School District, where they maintained existing systems and installed new systems. David then worked as a Programmer at Full Service Network from 2002 to 2005, coding new projects and updating old programs.

From 2005 to 2012, David served as a Systems Administrator at Elliance, Inc, managing and deploying servers and providing technical support to internal staff and clients. At EDMC, they worked as a Systems Administrator from 2012 to 2015, where they worked with VMWare virtual infrastructure, Windows servers, and AWS infrastructure.

David then joined Full Service Network again in 2015 as a Systems Engineer, where they managed the virtual infrastructure and enterprise firewalls. David co-lead the enterprise VMware infrastructure and played a key role in solving security challenges with microsegmentation.

In 2017, David joined Duquesne Fund Services LLC as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for the daily management of the virtual infrastructure, disaster recovery, and enterprise storage. David also played a leading role in managing the enterprise VMware infrastructure and solving security challenges.

Most recently, David has been working at Berkshire Grey since 2019. David started as a Senior IT Engineer and later took on the role of Acting IT Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IT, overseeing the IT operations and strategies for the company.

Throughout their career, David has gained expertise in various technologies such as virtualization, networking, storage systems, and infrastructure management. Their experience spans across different industries, including education, finance, and technology.

David P. completed their high school education at Bethel Park High School from 1993 to 1997. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 1997 to 2001.
