Alex Beaver

Alex Beaver is an experienced insurance professional with a robust background in underwriting and management. Currently serving as the Head of General Casualty for North America at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since September 2016, Alex previously held positions as Regional Underwriting Manager and Senior Underwriter in Umbrella & Excess Casualty. Prior experience includes various underwriting roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance from February 2008 to September 2016, focusing on energy and middle market primary casualty coverage. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2007.
