Robert Eagen

Robert Eagen serves as the Senior Vice President of Global Underwriting and Policy Systems at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since August 2023. Previously, Eagen spent over 24 years at The Hartford, where multiple leadership roles included CTO Delivery and Business Office, Vice President of Mergers and Acquisition Implementations, and Vice President of Strategic Delivery for Commercial Lines Technology. Eagen has a strong background in technology and operations within the insurance industry, successfully overseeing significant projects such as the replacement of legacy systems and the delivery of digital sales platforms. Earlier experience includes completing a leadership development program at Travelers, focusing on information systems across various departments. Robert Eagen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Political Science from Northeastern University.
