Sam Ironside

Sam Ironside is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of HR at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance since May 2023. Previously, Sam held the position of HR Director at BT for Global Business from June 2019 to May 2023. A significant part of Sam's career includes roles at Boeing as HR Director for Boeing Global Services and Global Employee Relations Leader from September 2012 to April 2019, along with serving as Head of Employee Relations at BT Global Services, overseeing a global employee relations function for a business unit with substantial revenues and a large workforce. Earlier, Sam worked as a consultant on a Local Economic Development project with OSCE and served as a Policy Officer for Union Network International, focusing on international trade union coordination. Sam obtained a Master's degree in European Politics and Public Administration from the College of Europe and holds a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Politics from the University of Glasgow.
