Katharina Erb-Eigner

Katharina Erb-Eigner has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Katharina started their career as a Studentische Hilfskraft at the Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung in 2001 and worked there until 2006. Katharina then joined the NHS as a Junior House Officer from August 2006 to July 2007, and later became a Senior House Officer from August 2007 to June 2008. In 2008, they worked as an Assistenzärztin at Vivantes – Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH from July 2008 to January 2009. From February 2009 to March 2013, they worked as an Assistenzärztin at Charité. Katharina then became a Fachärztin at Charité from April 2013 to September 2016. Since October 2016, they have been working as a Funktionsoberärztin at Charité. In 2020, they joined the Berlin Institute of Health as a Principal Investigator and Founder of RadioEye. Katharina is also a Vorstandsmitglied der AG Kopf-Hals der Deutschen Röntgengesellschaft (DRG) at Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft e.V. since May 2023.

Katharina Erb-Eigner earned their Dr. med.univ. degree from the Medical University of Vienna from 1999 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Gymnasium Stubenbastei from 1991 to 1999. Katharina has also obtained additional certifications in AI and Machine Learning in Health Care from Stanford University School of Medicine, the RSNA Imaging AI Certificate Program from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the EDiR European Diploma in Radiology from the European Society of Radiology.
