Daniel Massey brings more than two decades of experience as a journalist, communications strategist and organizer to his work on labor campaigns at BerlinRosen. He has played a major role in the Fight for $15, a campaign that has changed the politics of the country and put a third of U.S. workers on the way to $15/hour. His efforts to elevate the stories of working people earned him a spot on City and State’s 2019 “Labor Power 100” list. Daniel’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Crain’s New York Business, Newsweek, Salon, Newsday, The Star-Ledger and The New York Daily News. His book “Under Protest” examines the role South Africa’s first Black university played in the country’s liberation movement. Daniel grew up in the Bronx and loves the Mets.
