Thomas Henley

Thomas Henley is a Managing Director at Bernhard Capital. He serves as a member of the Investment Committee and is involved in all areas of the firm’s investment activities.

Prior to joining Bernhard Capital, Thomas served as Senior Managing Director at the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust as a leader of the investment team and a member of the Investment Committee. Thomas has over 25 years of experience in private equity investing, both domestically and internationally. Transacting deals in excess of $75 billion, Thomas has worked on a wide number of transactions that include many highly visible private equity transactions.

Thomas earned an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA where he received a Chevron Fellowship in Finance, and a B.S. from Stanford University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Thomas currently sits on the Board of Directors of Lazarus Energy Holdings, an aggregator of energy assets.
