Jean-Marc Kutz is an associated researcher and project manager at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine since March 2021, currently coordinating the second conference for schistosomiasis control in Madagascar. Responsibilities include partnership coordination, social media management, scientific program coordination, and conference promotion. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant focusing on operational studies on diseases of poverty, and completing an MD thesis on female genital schistosomiasis in Madagascar. Jean-Marc has also held multiple medical internships across departments such as anesthesiology and internal medicine, and worked as a sailing instructor at Segelschule-Schluchsee since May 2015. Jean-Marc holds an MD from the University of Hamburg and has completed additional training in disease outbreaks at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
