Emanuel Popescu

Emanuel Popescu is a highly experienced maritime professional with a strong background in dynamic positioning and offshore operations. Currently serving as Master SDPO at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement since February 2020, Emanuel successfully led the delivery of the SOV W2W vessel ‘Windea Jules Verne’ during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes roles as SDPO at COOEC Subsea, overseeing hyperbaric dive support vessels, and Master SDPO at Vroon. Emanuel has also held significant positions at Bernhard Schulte Offshore GmbH, Ocean Rig, Technip, Van Oord, and Tidewater Marine, contributing to various subsea construction and drilling projects across international waters. Emanuel holds a degree in Nautical Science from Institutul de Marina Constanta.
