Catherine Blessing

Catherine Blessing oversees the firm’s Human Resources Department, working with firm leadership on strategic personnel and staffing matters, managing the benefits program, and assisting the Executive Committee in the compensation and evaluation processes. She is also responsible for leading, managing and executing various strategic initiatives related to human resources, operations and firm administration.

Prior to joining BLB&G, Catherine served as Senior Director of Human Resources at the Children’s Tumor Foundation, where she established the first formal human resources department, playing a leading role in developing and implementing consistent organizational policies and practices related to compensation, benefits, employee education, and performance reviews, among other initiatives. She was also a senior consultant for CEO Advisory Services, and has prior work experience in the financial industry.

Catherine obtained her Masters’ Certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University, and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management, summa cum laude, from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business of The City University of New York.
