Rob Huisman

Rob Huisman is an accomplished leader in the fields of photography and graphic design, currently serving as the President of the Board for DuPho, the Dutch association of professional photographers, and the Wim Crouwel Institute, which promotes research and education in graphic design and typography. Huisman is also a Member of the Curatorium of the Wim Crouwel Chair at the University of Amsterdam, a Board member of BeeldAnoniem and Stichting 1000 Beelden, and the former President of the Board at AGA LAB. With extensive experience as a managing director and ambassador at various organizations, including the Association of Dutch Designers and What Design Can Do, Huisman is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and impact of creative professionals in the Netherlands. Holding a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam, Huisman combines academic insight with a passion for fostering innovation and collaboration within the design and photography sectors.
