Sophie Tijssen

Sophie Tijssen is an accomplished professional in communication and design, currently serving as the Communicatie Manager and Hoofdredacteur for the Dutch designers Yearbook at Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers since January 2023. With extensive experience in graphic design and project coordination, Sophie has held freelance graphic designer roles at Bugaboo and DutchCulture, alongside a position as Productiecoördinator at Keplerfilm. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Comparative Cultural Analysis and a Bachelor in Media and Culture from the University of Amsterdam, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the Willem de Kooning Academie. Sophie's educational background is complemented by foundational studies in Culture and Management at both Nova College and Veenlanden College Mijdrecht.
