Angela Avila

Angela is a first-generation college and graduate student of Mexican descent. Thanks to the sacrifices her parents made, and the immigration opportunities offered by the United States, she has been able to attain some of her family’s loftiest dreams. With her legal experience, she now hopes to help others do the same.

Prior to joining BAL, Angela worked at an estate planning firm where she focused on drafting estate planning documents, editing and drafting legal briefs, and researching a wide span of issues. Additionally, Angela’s legal experience includes working at the Texas House of Representatives, focusing on policy issues, as well as working for Indeed, Inc.’s Legal Team where she increased her knowledge of the private legal sector and was responsible for maintaining an extensive contract repository. By combining her passion for social issues with her corporate law interests, Angela consistently strives to bring to the immigration world both her expertise and devotion to assisting others like her in also pursuing the American Dream.
