Matt Kelly has extensive work experience in the quality systems and regulatory field. Matt started their career at Genpak in 1996 as a QA/Process Engineer. In 1997, they moved to Clariant Masterbatches as a Process Engineer. Then, in 1999, they joined Kaneka Texas Corporation as a QA and Technical Manager. Matt's most recent role was at Berry Global, Inc., where they held various positions, including Corporate Director of Regulatory Compliance and Corporate VP of Quality Systems and Regulatory. Matt started at Berry Global in 2001 and remained there until the present.

Matt Kelly's education history begins with their high school education at WYHS, where they pursued a College Prep program from 1988 to 1991. Subsequently, from 1991 to 1996, they attended The Ohio State University, earning a BS ChE degree in Polymer and Environmental Engineering. Continuing their educational journey, Matt enrolled in Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and completed an MBA degree in Industrial Management from 2001 to 2004.
