Stephan Janson

Stephan Janson possesses extensive experience in the field of additive manufacturing and medical technology. Currently serving as Aufsichtsperson i.V. at Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warenlogistik (BGHW) since June 2021, Stephan previously held roles as EBM Process and Material Specialist and Additive Manufacturing Engineer at GE Additive from December 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, significant contributions were made as a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at iwb Anwenderzentrum Augsburg from November 2013 to November 2017 and as a Masterand at VDW Dentaltechnik in 2013. Early career experience included a Werkstudent role at Aesculap from September 2006 to February 2011, focusing on research and development. Stephan holds a Master of Science in Medizintechnik from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau und Mechatronik from Hochschule Furtwangen, complemented by an exchange semester in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick.
