Jayaseelan Raji

Jayaseelan Raji is an experienced chef currently working at Berwick Retirement Communities since November 2022. Previously, Jayaseelan has held the position of Jr. Sous Chef at La Trattoria since February 2018, overseeing food quality and hygiene in a restaurant and premium passenger lounges at Chennai Airport. Experience also includes a role as Cook for Norwegian Cruise Line from September 2007 to March 2014, contributing to meal preparation for a busy cruise line. Earlier positions include Commis 1 at Esthell Hotels and Resorts and Commis 2 at Aiwo Food for Life, with responsibilities in team cooking and dietary meal preparation. Jayaseelan began the culinary journey as an Industrial Trainee at Radisson Grt Hotel, and holds a Diploma in Food Production from IHMCT&AN, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Madurai Kamraj University.
