Andrew Knight (Drew)

Andrew (Drew) Knight is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in fire protection and emergency services. Currently working as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT at the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department and as a Laboratory Engineer at Beshenich Muir & Associates, Drew has also held positions as a Firefighter/EMT at Morningside Volunteer Fire Department and as a Volunteer EMT/Firefighter at Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad, where notable achievements include being named Top Call Runner for three consecutive years and receiving the Chief's Award in 2019. Previous roles include engineering internships at Reliance Fire Protection, Inc. and the National Fire Sprinkler Association, as well as volunteer firefighting positions at Woodburn Fire District and Dundee Fire & Rescue. Drew holds a Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from George Fox University.
