Mark Hood

Mark Hood is Chief Operating Officer of Bespoke Partners and leads day-to-day operations. Mark most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at GlobalSCAPE, Inc., where he managed day-to-day operations until the successful acquisition by TA Associates-backed HelpSystems in August 2020.

Prior to joining GlobalSCAPE, Mark was Executive Vice President at Crossroads Systems, where he directed business development and led several debt and equity transactions. His background includes managing two investment partnerships and founding a successful business consultancy.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter, playing golf, practicing mixed martial arts, eating BBQ, and attending live music events. He is a devoted baseball fan and passionate about his San Francisco Giants. In fact, he and his wife spent a wedding anniversary milestone and had a kiss on the scoreboard “Kiss Cam” at a Giants home game.

Mark earned a BBA in Marketing from Sam Houston State University and a MS in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin, The Red McCombs School of Business.
