Peter Slater

Peter Slater is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in fiduciary counsel and wealth management. Since October 2012, Peter has held the position of Managing Director and Senior Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust, having progressed through various roles including Senior Fiduciary Counsel and Associate Fiduciary Counsel. Prior to this, Peter served as Special Counsel at Withers Bergman LLP from September 2006 to October 2012, and held the position of Thrift & Profit Sharing Plan Manager at Latham & Watkins LLP between 2003 and 2006. Peter began a legal career at Dewey Ballantine LLP as an Associate from 1997 to 2003. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) and LLM in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law and a BA in Philosophy, Mandarin Chinese, and Studio Art from the College of the Holy Cross.
